Let’s see how the Celtics could potentially acquire Bradley Beal in a trade. First, let’s get one thing out of the way, the Celtics can NOT use the Traded Player Exception to acquire Beal. The only way Boston can land Beal is by matching the salaries in a trade. That means you have to move Tatum or Brown – NOT HAPPENING. The Celtics could potentially create a package of players like Daniel Theis, Romeo Langford, and Semi Ojeleye with a bigger chip like Marcus Smart along with future draft picks, but do we really want to trade Marcus Smart?
