After a tough loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, the Boston Celtics will look to rebound (and for those of you who bet on Boston, you will too) against the Portland Trail Blazers, Sunday at 3:30 PM ET. If you are looking to place wagers on the Celtics’ upcoming game, take a look at our Celtics vs Trail Blazers betting predictions.

It’s no secret that Boston got off to a slow start. No one was as rusty as Jayson Tatum though, shooting two-of-eighteen from the field, one of which was a free tip-in from a Bucks player. If Tatum shoots 40%, Boston wins. The game itself was overshadowed by a few blown calls in Giannis’ favor in the final minutes of regulation. The Bucks were favored by five and covered the spread in their win with a final score of 119-113.

The Trail Blazers could be the perfect team to bust Jayson Tatum’s slump and give the Celtics a win. The Boston Celtics enter Sunday’s game as four-point favorites, with the over/under sitting at 230.

Here’s a quick matchup breakdown.

Following a 140-135 overtime win against the Memphis Grizzlies, Damian Lillard and the Blazers are coming into this game HOT… Portland has the size that Boston lacks, outrebounding the Grizzlies by a margin of plus-four. Portland shot 53.8% from the field and 43.3% from beyond-the-arc against Memphis, so it’s obvious that Boston will have to figure out their shooting woes (40.7% FG, 29.7% 3PT) to keep up with the stellar play of both CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard.

On the flip side, starting the NBA restart off down 17-2, Boston rallied back to take the lead in the fourth quarter but ultimately fell short. Marcus Smart scored a game-high twenty-three points and Jaylen Brown added twenty-two, but it was Tatum’s abysmal shooting that highlighted the loss and will certainly be the focal point for the next game.

Given the competitiveness of the first two days of NBA action, the Celtics/Blazers game should not disappoint. That being said, here are our betting predictions for Celtics vs. Trail Blazers.
